New York Talkback is a place for your to share your thoughts about all things New York...
It is free to join and with an account you can write blog posts, comment on others blog posts, and rate blog posts. The idea is to provide an online space for engaged New Yorkers to speak their mind and share their opinions and insights on local news, entertainment, business, sports and even gossip.
Basically it is a free for all, but we do have some basic rules, like don't be a dick. Just because this is the internet it doesn't mean we shouldn't behave like civilized adults. If you don't like what someone says then feel free to comment and make your opinion heard, but do not engage in personal attacks and name calling. That's just childish and people who engage at that level are just proving themselves too immature and lacking in intelligence to have a decent conversation.
I don't want to sound dictatorial, but it's
important that this is a safe and open place otherwise it doesn't work.
